Seoul-Incheon

Right now, I‘m sitting in my hotel in Seoul Incheon. It’s quite a flash place, flasher than anything else i ever stayed in…from my window i have a view over Incheon’s “central park” and part of the city. It is nice here, but weird…it’s hard to say what’s so unusual about it, the whole town looks like it was build in the last twenty years….all you can see is skyscrapers, wide roads, clean footpaths, some gardens in between. And everything is really clean, no rubbish anywhere, and for me the city just lacks of character, it’s nice and clean but empty…It’s monday morning, almost nine o’clock and i can hardly see any cars and no people walking around at all, it’s like there’s no one living here…at least not living in a sense of walking around outside, taking the kids to school, go for a run in the park in the morning….nothing…

I just came back into my room from breakfast, i had some rice porridge, which was nice and salad and some scrambled egg, the selection of food started with yogurt, cereals and porridge, carried on w croissants, toast, bread rolls and spreads, than there was some kind of english breakfast, eggs, bacon, homemade baked beans (they were quite yummy as well) and fries and then there was the asian breakfast selection, rice, miso soup, salad, salted fish, some seaweed, pickled cabbage and some traditional Japanese bean dish, called natto, here is what wikipedia has to say about it…my warning: dont even smell it, i did and tried a tiny little bit…and had to go and get another 2 coffees to get rid of that taste :D

well, anyway, i’m off now, exploring central park…lol….just a shame i couldn’t charge up the battery of my camera….and nah, it’s not my fault…i just forgot the stupid adapter thingy…buggar…
