Botanical Gardens and Napier

Me and Dave are going out for a walk almost every night, and here are some pics of the scenery we get…

This is Napier at sunset:

Today we went to Napier’s Botanical Garden…and summer’s about to begin over here, so everything’s growing and there are heaps of flowers…just beautiful…flowers lots of flowers ( do you remember the icq greeting “flowers, lots of flowers”?)

And yes, this is just one tree, with 8 branches growing straight up, so it looks like a couple of trees, but in reality it’s only one…pretty amazing, ey?

Well back to the Hostel...

we do have a christmas tree now...isn't it beautiful...but apart from that, it is hard to feel christmassy here...it's too warm and there isn't as much decoration as there would be in Europe...and the decoration that you do find is kitsch...most of it...and i'll spent christmas together with leon (that guy from work) and his family in New Plymouth...i have no idea how it is goin to be like..probably spending heaps of time outside, beach, boots and barbecues...well at least i'll have proper kiwi-xmas and a 5day holiday :) i'm really looking forward to that...

My favourite fluffy flowers, they grow next to the hostel as well, and i always pick some for our vases….they’re fluffy and cute..:D they look like pfeifenreiniger..
